At YME we specialise in high quality, hyper local, super fresh gourmet mushroom varieties and supply businesses across West Yorkshire.

Who are YME? YME is operated by businesss co-owners Ed & Niall, (with much appreciated help from family and friends!) What species do we grow? We grow a range of oyster mushrooms, shiitake & Lions Mane, with plans to further expand our range in 2025. We also stock a local yorkshire variety of the taraggon oyster, which is unique to YME, and cultivated from a wild sample found right here in Yorkshire. View our full species list here

Where do we deliver?

We currently deliver our fresh produce to all Leeds postcodes in West Yorkshire (min 1kg order).

How regularly do you deliver?

At our current scale we deliver on a weekly basis to the city centre and the surrounding areas of Leeds, however we will always make an effort to top up our customers with additional deliveries as needed

How does the pricing work?

Although we can't with import wholesale prices, we create value for money in the quality, freshness and variety we provide, which ultimately means better taste and happier customers. We reward our customers wiht our volume discounts outlined in our price list below.

Where are YME headed?

At YME, being a mushroom emporium is only the fist step of the journey, our mission is to support the thriving west yorkshire food network, by being a season round producer of fresh produce. In the future we hope to expand our operations into indoor fruit and vegeatable growing and combine indoor growing techniques with more conventional market gardening to create a holistic high output food growing system.
