Hericium erinaceus is known as lion's mane or bearded tooth fungus due to it's appearance of spines or hairs that dangle down from the top of the mushroom. It grows natively in UK forests however it's so rare that it's listed as a endangered species - so best to grow it at home with a specialist kit!

We sterilise and inoculate the kits with lions mane mushroom culture, before incubating for two weeks at our farm in Leeds.
