Yorkshire Mushroom Emporium

I thoroughly enjoyed this workshop and will probably try to do the autumn one later this year. Since doing it I've been able to forage various bits for teas, flavoured water and salad toppings and I notice these plants around me more. Really enjoyed the discussions as we went round.

90 minutes of first class information, and my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed it.

I purchased two kits recently, a pearl oyster and a shitake mushroom. I know I will have to wait for the shitake but the oyster is amazing. One week after preparing the box (which was so easy), the first signs of mushrooms appeared. Each day they doubled in size and on the fifth day, I harvested my first 6 mushrooms. A day later and another crop is almost ready. They are truly a delicious mushroom and all the better for knowing that I grew them myself. I'd recommend this to any mushroom lover.

Grey Oyster Mushroom Grow Kit

I collected a selection of mushrooms from the guys at YME and was very impressed with their whole setup, ethos and of course their fantastic mushrooms!

Bought for son as birthday present. Just opened side of box and watered and within a week he had a bumper crop . Highly recommend

Having received one of your kits as a Christmas gift and being really impressed with the crops of mushrooms produced I decided to purchase one for a friend’s birthday. Communication was excellent, delivery was prompt and the gift was well received. If you are looking that something different as a gift then this is it.

Absolutely love this product but would just ask for some extra guidance on mushroom care and picking. A sense of scale as to when is the optimum time to pick would be great. Also, how much water to spray on them?
Apart from that it has been great and about to taste today after harvest. They look fantastic.

We were given this course as a gift . We didn’t expect the course to give as much as it did . It was well prepared and relaxed.
We’re were briefed on mushroom science then shown how to make a mushroom growning kit .We made up the kits to bring home and ours are growing well . Thanks for a super and enjoyable course .
